New Production Plan:

Due to the change of Artist everything is now last minute so I am hoping to get as much as I can done as quickly as possible but to a good standard so I will be able to edit the footage I have already got without having to rush it and will have enough time to re-shoot anything if I need to, as well as have a decent amount of time to design my digi-pac and magazine advert.

Tuesday 5th February

I will shoot the cheating scene as well as the cough scene at my house, I have organised for Ellie to come and do my hair and make up for the day and also shoot the scenes that I am unable to film myself because I am featuring in the video. Both Chris and Nathan will come as they have both said they are free and we can do all the scenes that I need them both for.

Thursday 7th February

This is the day I am hoping to do the walk/woodland scene which will be the 'home footage'

Monday 11th February

This is the first day we are back at college after the half term, I am hoping that I will be able to use the theatre to film the scenes of Nathan in the straight jacket, Han was able to film on this day so it will be all the scenes listed below..

Tuesday 12th Februaury

I have a free afternoon on a Tuesday so on this day I plan to upload all the footage I have already got and start editing it, that way I will know whether anything else needs re-shooting and what else might need to be done, so that next time people are free to film, I can also get whatever else might need doing again/instead of what I have already got.


Wednesday 13th Februay

I will use this day to do some more editing again as I dont think that I will have enough time on the Tuesday alone to do all the editing of the footage I will have filmed.


Friday 15th February

Because people are unable to film for a while, I will design my digipacs, I am planning to make 5 different designs for the front cover and then depending on what feedback the audience give back on those designs, I will start to think about what I will do for the rest of the pac, using there input so I know what the audience would want to see on the digipac.

Monday 18th February

I will use this day to do more editing and will hopefully finish my first draft by the end of the day.


Tuesday 19th February

I am planning to use this day to write about my first draft and see what needs re-shooting, doing differently, whether everything fits well together etc.


Friday 22nd February

I an hoping on getting the last left over shots on this day and complete my filming and re-shoot any shots that need re-shooting. This way I will be able to focus on the digipacs, advert and finishing my music video, then I will be able to focus on finishing my final video.

Change of Plan:

Chris my original choice for the main artist is now unable to be in the whole of my music video due to his own studies and was unable to be free to do all the filming however said he would still take part in the music video if I needed him.

This was unfortunate as I had already done quite a bit of filming for my music video with him in it and because he said he could no longer do it, this meant I am going to have to re-shoot what I already had. Fortunately I was able to find a replacement quickly so I didnt have to take a lot of time to choose someone else.

I liked what I had here as I thought it looked quite effective so I will just have to do the same with who else I have chosen to become the artist. I will show them this and talk him through the story board so that they can see what I am hoping to capture for my music video, however, looking at this I know how to improve the shots I will get, as I know that it will need to be more well lit so that there will be less video noise.

Chris will now take part in my music video as the person I cheat on Nathan with. The person who I was originally meant to be the other male was always busy and was never able to come to film so in a way this has worked quite well because I have both a good lead that is reliable and a co-star that looks good when filming and will do what he can to help when he can.

The person I chose to replace Chris was already taking part in my video as one of the mental asylum workers; Nathan Brennan. Even though Nathan wasnt my original choice I think it will work well in my music video because he is quite good at portraying different emotions and I have quite a good connection with him as he is one of my best friends, which will work well when shooting the relationship scenes.

The change of artist means that I will now have to adjust all the chosen hairstyles for the male lead as the hairstyles I chose originally were decided from looking at Chris' features and what hair type he has.

With Nathan's hair it is very similar style to this hairstyle I originally chose, Nathan's hair will be like this when he catches his girlfriend cheated on him however mire curly rather than straight, which is his natural hair. As for the shots when he is having his electric shock thereapy and is singing at the beginning of the video when in the theatre, I am still unsure. I am unable to use the other styles as his hair is very course and thick so it is harder to style and he also has a very big forehead so the styles wouldn't look right. I am thinking I might ask him to have his hair cut so that there is a clear difference in time from when they were together and happy compared to when he is alone after she has cheated on him and 'broken his heart'. -All the outfits will be the same as they would have been for Chris.

Another thing that has changed is who is playing the Dr. in the video. I did film some of the parts of the music video with Rachel and I thought she looked really good as the Dr. however when trying to get her to come and film for the second part that I needed her for, she was never free and in the end said that she would rather not take part in it however would if I needed her to. Luckily enough at the time when Rachel told me this, another one of my friends, Han Mcconnon said that she would love to be the Dr given the opportunity. -This was fantastic as she is tall, pretty and good at acting, so she will now play the part of the Dr. Han to the rescue!

The outfit will still be the same for Han as it would be for Rachel, however, because Han has hip length hair, I will be unable to put it into a clip or bun, which is what I had originally planned, so instead I will have her tie it back into a ponytail instead, which should still look good.

I will show Han these tester shots so she knows what she will be wearing as well as being aware of what playing the Dr. entails.

The last change made is that Ash, the other asylum worker is moving to Australia, so due to packing and sorting everything out he is too busy to be in the video, so instead I have asked [insert name] to take part in the video as the mental asylum worker instead, as well as [insert name] to replace the role that Nathan was originally playing.
